Listening to Beethoven's Fifth... it's been a while.

first four notes. Everybody knows those notes: "The Hand of Fate knocking at the door", as Ludwig Van described it. But how many people know the 45 minutes of sheer unadulterated genius that follow them?

The first symphony I forced myself to listen to. It has a permanent place on my MP3 player, even if I don't listen to it often.

The fifth, most of all. Then the ninth and the sixth.

But I can listen to them all. Once I had a long drive and I played them all, one after the other, on the car stereo. It's something everyone should do, if they like classical music at all.:hi:

And I just got "Ride Of The Valkyries" By Richard Wagner the other day. :)
