:boring:

Seriously, after awhile I didn't even care who the guy with the funky mask was

I appreciate that the movie had a jibe bash as the Bush Regime, but I think I'd rather watch a documentary about it.

Natalie Portman needs to stop doing these big budget action pictures - she can't act worth a shit in them (although she's very talented in the indie film arena).

1. Natalie fricking rocked in V...
that scene where they shaved her head was fan-fricking-tastic.

2. Like we haven't seen that before
Hell Demi Moore did that tens years earlier - it's a tired cliche of them 'gal gives in to the horror that is facing her by shaving away her armor of her long beautiful hair'

Ho-Hum!

5. I did not care much for the movie either
I just thought it got way to stupid at the end. I kind of kept thinking, wow, twenty years ago he was nakid and on fire and look at how much he's worth now. Also, just how close are all these people planning on getting to the building they know is about to blow up?

6. I thought it was okay.

Not the best movie of its kind. Not the worst. I thought the whole Natalie in prison thing was wholly gratuitous. When she found out, she should have killed him in his sleep.

A better movie on the subject of state mind-control is Equalibrium.

7. I'd rather watch the grand-daddy of them all: 1984
John Hurt ruled in that movie!

9. Funnily enough
my RW friend who thought he was going to hate it, really liked it because of the cinematography. It's now his favourite film (he calls it the "British Blade Runner").

I thought it was OK, but it's pretty much old news to me, it didn't tell me anything I don't already know.
