I spent most of the day watching "The Thorn Birds."

But since Richard Chamberlain came out, I see it differently now. Same thing as when I watch old Rock Hudson movies. Why is this? Billy Crystal played a homosexual on "Soap," and he's straight. Why do I feel strange seeing a homosexual play a straight man? (BTW, when I was a teenager I had crushes on both Hudson and Chamberlain!)

watched Thornbirds again recently and it was different.
It was more interesting - the forbidden aspect of their relationship was even more intense.
I too had a crush on Chamberlain.
