Just watching a rerun of an interview with Steve Irwin he did three years

ago and it is just heart-wrenching to listen to -there's so much passion, enthusiasm and energy in his voice. And the way he talks about his wife and daughter -you can tell how passionately he loved the both of them (and I'm sure the same was true with his son but he is not mentioned in the interview because he wasn't born yet). And also it is wonderful to hear him talk about his love for animals and his passion for conservation and environmentalism

Most Americans recognize what a great conservationist he was and how important he was to Australia in particular.
