I love the candid element, like I am peeking into the past, one that isn't changed, cleaned up or posed, but a real moment their their lives.

10. My dad and my sister.

I know I post this pic all the time, but this represents my family. I miss my sister who died in December of 2000 when she was 8 months pregnant with who was going to be my nephew. And my dad died ten years ago. He was the most loving parent. I'm so sad that I didn't get to know him as an adult.
I miss my grandma too, but I don't have any pictures of her.

22. the real horror story is...
that the oil companies in China have had to take losses to keep the gas cheap! We can't have poor ExxonMobil get less of a profit - in their condition they might go under.

They had Chocolate, Vanilla and a couple of flavors I don't remember. I loved it; but it only lasted a couple of years.

I wake up every morning wanting to call her. Then I remember she's gone. It's like walking upstairs in the dark and when you take a step after you're reached the top. The stair that isn't there. That's what it feels like in my head. :(

Playing in the woods, catching minnows in the streams that were on all four sides of the house (torn down now, it was right behind the little creekstone building pictured below). The copperheads that nested in the back yard on occasions were scary, and so was tht moccasin that got into the garage once, too.

But I don't miss running down the quarter mile driveway in the early morning dark to catch a bus that has come early... especially in the winter when the road was icy from sleet; dancing across the incredibly cold floor in the morning to find my shoes; taking showers or bathing in the unheated bathroom in the winter time; etc...
