Anyone ever buy an open item from newegg before?

I've dealt with the site on several occassions and my transactions went pretty smoothly. I recommend the site to anyone.

But I've never bought an "open box" item from them. They carry a 15 day warranty, which is not much, but I found a great deal on something...

BTW, has anyone here used the Core 2 Duo CPUs by Intel? I'm lookin to build a new system with the E6400...and maybe overclock it a bit.

2. I have dealt with NewEgg for years and have NO complaints

what so ever! I've not purchased any open box items however. I can't imagine that you'd have any problems with them though. They are great to deal with and have good prices on most everything.

3. Good call on the overclocked E6400

just make sure you get a motherboard that makes it easy to overclock--there aren't that many yet since the core 2 duos are brand new
