I love Super Target.
We just did our shopping for the week there. We have healthier food and it's so much cleaner there. Oh, it was so fun.

5. There are still 10 in the fridge.
We only have to buy beer like once every 3 months or so...

3. We don't have a Super Target near us.
Though I wish we did. One-stop shopping for sure. :(

They just built a brand-new regular Target near my grandparents' house that has underground parking, though. Bizarre.

6. Maybe they couldn't build a parking lot?
Not enough space? Hmmm...interesting.

7. There was (and still is) a huge lot out in front,
in addition to the underground parking. Whenever I go by there, it doesn't seem to be particularly crowded (plus, it's demographically an older neighborhood), so I've always been a little confused by it. But hey, whatever works.

9. Walmart.
Don't start in. We don't make a ton of money and sometimes we just want to go to the closest place and get the job done. We don't particularly care for walmart either, but with gas prices as high as they were, we needed to just get there shop and get home. The closes Target is over 5 miles away, and the Super Target is like 7.

10. Interesting.
This may sound weird, but it seems to me that grocery stores in the east--and I'm not saying you are in the east--are not as clean as those in the west.

11. We're in Oklahoma....
And I don't know if it's so much that they're dirty, but that they're old, and they don't take care of them. Who cares if it looks nice when you're selling cheap shit to rednecks? I'm very much into everything being asthetically pleasing. I think that's why I like Target.

14. Plenty of places have a clean/tidy schedule.
The employees are supposed to see that things in their area are picked up or wiped down or swept every X minutes. Makes a lot of sense, as I don't think most American shoppers are that pleased when they see they are ankle-deep in old wrappers and other stuff.

15. I miss super target--the one up by northwest expressway
we used to get there every couple of months while we were still living in Norman ... alas, there isn't one anywhere near where we live now.

16. THere's never been one on nw expressway.
Edited on Sun Sep-03-06 09:40 AM by YellowRubberDuckie
There used to be a Big K-Mart there, and it's now a regular target. There are two super Targets in OKC. One's by Quail Springs, and the other is in Edmond.

17. I was thinking of the turnpike
and said NW expressway. Yikes! another sign of the land slipping from my memory. :/
