You post an absurd thread complaining about some insignificant story in the insignificant entertainment section of CNN. Those stories are not meant to be 'News' and are meant to be light and unimportant to many people. What the hell were you expecting when you browsed through that section?

You may find it interesting that they had a story on that, but you are really over exaggerating its importance. That can be seen by your need to post a thread to everyone at DU on it. So don't get all bent out of shape when someone come across the thread and laughs at you for actually being personally offended that CNN had a fluff story in their fluff section.

I find it hilarious that you actually took offense to this. It's as absurd to me as somebody who went into a liquor store and got offended enough to demand to speak to the manager in order to complain heartily to them that they have the nerve to sell O'Douls. :rofl:

it interesting in these times when the world is blowing up. This was linked on their front page. It for me is shocking, in that we have so many crisis in this world in the USA. Ok, this is entertainment news, they could be talking about Brad Pitt and his efforts to help bring back New Orleans with his project his involved in. But, that 'Jessica Simpson's voice cracks on Today show is what we get? I find that incredible. You don't seem to mind, and again why don't you just ignore this thread if bothers you so much?

Doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind replying. What I have to ask is why did you post it if you were going to get so offended at others thinking it to be petty? I mean, can you only handle it when people post praise to your insight and agree with you in lockstep? LOL

It's a message board. Sometimes, yes sometimes, people aren't going to respond in the affirmative to your complaints. That's the way it works. Don't tell them to just ignore the thread then, because it just doesn't work that way.

I'm aware that you are offended that they had the nerve to put that story in their meaningless entertainment section. But please also be aware that I find that to be hilarious and can't believe someone is actually complaining about something like this.

I'm sure that you didn't really mean to do this, but for some reason couldn't help yourself. I am glad that I do not get treated like this from others at this site. Your purpose was to complain about something petty found in a place that has petty things. I simply thought that it was funny that you did so. It is all within context.

Truth be told, this is really a Lounge thread in my opinion. Had it have been there, I wouldn't have felt the need to respond at all.

But since it was a GD thread to be taken seriously, I felt the need to laugh about it a bit. You may not agree with why I find the complaint to be a silly one, but that doesn't make me in the wrong for feeling that way. To each their own opinion.

It's also really not a big deal. Don't take it to heart that much, as I'm more harmlessly ribbin ya than anything else.
