Cds...

I was just thinking on old times, and thinking about cds that I have missed along my life. That got me thinking, what cd, or tape, have you lost, or had stolen the most? I know people have sticky fingers, and through my years, the cd of mine that takes the cake is Metallica And Justice for All. I have had this tape stolen twice, and had the cd stolen "5" damn times! Its a riot I swear...

So, have anyone of you experienced this before? Repeated losses, or stealing of certain tapes/cds...

1. only had a few cds stolen

two copies of smashing pumpkins "melancholy and the infinite sadness" and two copies of violent femmes "add it up"

i did have one person scratch the crap out of my copy of "ride the lightning" and not replace it, so they may have well have stolen it

I got my first cd 15 years ago...:P But I meant any medium, LP, 8-track, whatever...:) But, I believe you all ready knew that...:silly: :hi:

3. Sticky fingers and Exile on Main St

were loaned to others and then lost. I have just not gotten around to getting new copies.

4. the one cd i lost (i really think the maid at the hotel

i was living in stole it and other stuff of mine) that i miss the most was an industry-only type promo double cd set of tin machine "live."

you couldn't buy it because it was never sold to the public.

it had a c&w version of the song "bus stop."

7. Not stolen, but...

...miss it just the same.

The last time I moved I got rid of all my vinyl. I no longer owned a turntable and the "record collection" was just too bulky and heavy to hang on to.

Of all those albums there's only one I really miss.

The album is out of print, the band split up decades ago and all the members have moved on in their musical careers. Some of the most original music I've ever heard. Southern Indiana Hippie Folk Freak Fusion with side trips to Romania, India, and Scandinavia(I'm probably forgetting a few).

9. NIN - The Downward Spiral

I love that CD and some tweaker stole it from me about 5 years ago. I have yet to replace it since my kids now eat up all of my CD money.
