Willst thou join me in a moment of prayer for reyd reid reed?
She does the little bitty type (agate) in the sports section, and tonight's the opener for high school football where she lives. Her paper covers something like 42 schools but has a reporter at only three or four, which means all the other game summaries come by phone. Working with her tonight are three nØØbs.

It's gonna be hell in there. :scared:

I've been doing it for five years now and I really do love it. I love at the end of the night when I've still got 25 inches to fill and the page has to go in 20 minutes and it fills....then it fills and I've even gotta squeeze it.

Now...after it's over and I've gotta enter the damn stats into the online program...THAT I hate. And we've got a new editor who hasn't done a fall season...and I swear, one of these days.......
