I have a coupon for 5 free song downloads
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 06:32 AM by LynneSin
Recommend to me 5 songs from artists you think I should add to my collection.

Mind you, I have over 7000 songs in my collection (and only 1000 somehow related to Led Zeppelin or some member of it)

Mind you the coupon is for Sony Connect music service but they have a pretty good selection of music.

5. whole album rocks man
Edited on Fri Sep-01-06 07:07 AM by petersond
never listened to an album like it, I especially liked the aspect of the album, being a high school kids week of hell...aka him losing his job, his girlfriend, finding out from Mrs. Goodger, that he isnt graduating, and of course the finale....

LOA, is pretty damn good...their latest left me wanting a lot more, seems they got Keith Caputo holding back...and I miss that wailing voice...:)

on edit:spelling

9. yeah,
i like most of their stuff. "No One Survives" is a fave of mine, there are a few others i gravitate to.

i agree with about their last album. it was definitely missing something. although i will say, their lyrics still rock.

21. true
Alan Roberts/Caputo writing lyrics, especially Roberts, very good lyrics, I am surprised at how good they are! It was the second thing I noticed about LOA after listening to them for the first time...:)

11. I bought that new 2gig Sony netman
1350 songs it claims it can hold - I got 1278.

Then again the claim was based on 4min songs. I'm guessing those 3 different 20+ min versions of Dazed & Confused probably don't qualify

7. Five serious suggestions for you
1) Fell from the Let's Active album Big Plans for Everybody, because that's one of Robert Plant's favorite 80s albums
2) Jungle Love by the Time, because it was left off your favorite soundtrack
3) Beer Run by Todd Snider, because it's so much fun to sing along to
4) Got My Mojo Working by Muddy Waters because you can never have too much mojo
5) Missing the War by the Ben Folds Five, because they were a Sony band and presumably available on that service. It's an absolutely great song to listen to full blast on head phones. It also has a nice reference to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 'So much time, so little to say.'

I was in the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" faction (Johnny Depp version)

17. I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Although, I will say I liked the original Veruca better... but, the addition of the squirrels well made up for the new Veruca (although she was good).
