what is your favorite fast food?
the garbage you crave. you may not even tell anyone about it. but it is there, that lust for grease.

i like .99 mcdonalds double cheesburgers. i truly believe they put heroin in them. i once ate 4 of them at one sitting. and wanted more.

so I have to make an effort to avoid the place- or I'd weigh 300 pounds.

3. TACO HELL
I will eat the hell out of some Taco Bell and I'm not even ashamed. I hurt a rather overly-enthusiastically-liberal friend's feelings back in college when she asked me to boycott Taco Bell because they pay their tomato pickers too little and I refused. (Yes, I am a bad person  ) I like the regular crunchy tacos the best but also like the steak soft taco and the beef burrito--I never order the new fancy stuff.

I also like Arby's awful roast beef sandwiches but nothing comes close to my affection for Taco Bell. I don't really like any other fast food places--I only eat Taco Bell like once a month because the closest one is out of my way. Lucky thing, that!

Of course, I just got back from vacation earlier this week, and have NO DESIRE for fast food or restaurant food AT ALL right now.

or as we affectionately call them, jumbo cracks, are a good food bargain for the fiscally challenged. btw. .99 - 1.69/unit depending on the market.

poverty tip: order extra lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion (most places won't charge) and you end up with your vegetables and some meat.

yummmy.

26. Hell, I like it all.
I grew up overseas (my father was in the service), and back then the food you got on military bases was pretty awful. Fast food was often the only American food I could get that wasn't really horrible (sad thought, eh?) and it was a sort of connection to my own country.

Although I try to limit how much of it I eat, I like pretty much all of it, and when whim takes me, I'll go to whichever fast food joint is closest.

28. hummus eez veddy goood
i like!!!

dolmades is close second.

i used to live in a part of chicago that had a large middle eastern population.

the local markets had grape leaves in a can for .99 and 10 different kinds of feta ranging from 1.99 - 4.00/pound, this coupled with the fresh pita from the local arabic bakery was very nice.

i lived on pita, feta, grape leaves, kifta, hummus, etc.

it is actually pretty inexpensive if you don't buy it a suburban joint.

my test was to shop/eat only at places where they had al jazeera on the t.v.

and where they hardly spoke any english.
