Don't you hate it when...
You think you've got your household finances in order and budgeted perfectly...and then you find the truck payment book in the bill box? And realize you didn't budget for that?

:grr: :grr: :nuke: :nuke: :grr: :grr:

Now, I will magically make money appear from my fingertips. Watch closely...you may miss it.

What's your irritating thing today?

3. Bad Mr G! Bad!!
Take it out of his allowance, darn it.

Men! :eyes:

I hope that the monetary magic kicks in...

My downish times today were brief, courtesy of a f***wit DUer who (not too violently, but still uncalled for, especially given that it was the first interaction I've had with the sumbitch) attacked me from out of nowhere and immediately earned himself a spot on my ignore-the-f***er list (my tolerance for a**holes has diminished markedly in recent years...I have to put up with enough of it in my work and I'm damned if I'll let them get to me after hours or waste any energy on validating their unfortunate presence on this planet) and courtesy of a couple of f***wit tourists at work, though it's been a lot more civilized out there the last week or so as the (drunk) summer people fade away and these two were pretty weak in their a**holeishness.

So, all in all, not too bad. But the planet and my life would still be better off with some of these people just gone.

4. I will clink my coffee cup to that.

You are right. It definitely has to be MrG's fault that this has happened. Mere minutes after I post that, little baby WannaBe came up with all of the school papers that she should have given me yesterday...had I been an "on the ball" mother and asked for them. And her order form for school pictures. This year I am being smart for the first time ever. I ordered the tiniest package possible. I'm tired of writing checks.

I am having a wonderful morning, but then again it's only 6 AM. I hope you have a terrific day Forrest! :loveya: Forget about those idiots. To me, one of you is worth 10 of them.

:loveya:

I hope it's a great day, all around...and, yes, good idea with those pictures!

I'm going to have my shower and try to actually get some sleep, so I'll trust things are proceeding along most bodaciously in your life while I (hope I) slumber.

7. Yes, by using said fingers to access my savings account I can
magically transfer money to my checking account, while wearing my PJ's even. :bounce: It is an astonishing thing!

That is truly irritating Buffy... :( My ex tried to have his record cleared by saying "somebody stole my ID" a few years back.

Useful, but not as exciting as if you could make it appear by magic (or pluck it off a tree).

RE: the article and your ex:Is it me or are people increasingly unwilling to accept responsibility for their actions?

11. It's not you.
And it irritates the heck out of me. Personal responsibility is almost nonexistant of late. I'm sure the kid in the article has absolutely no remorse that he altered forever the life of another. After all, it wasn't really his fault. :sarcasm: :(

12. The article stated that he'd shown absolutely no remorse
Yet he's demanding his record be cleared. Worse yet, the only thing the victim asked for was an apology and it was refused because "the man can't speak English". I hope the court tells the kid to stick his request where the sun doesn't shine.

17. Hehe, thanks!
Today's wake-up was the weather report. My best friend, her mom & me are going STRAIGHT into the arms of Ernesto this weekend. We've had this beach trip planned for months, and my friend's mom put her foot down. She wailed, "WE'LL RISK IT!" She even had a "mommie dearest" type trill to her voice. I frickken LOVE her!

Have a happy, sweet nap, L! :hi:

Mr. Midlo is on short term leave, thus 70% of his salary which should be enough, IF and I repeat IF, he stopped spending money like a drunken sailor.

Stressful to say the least.

19. Oh, pretty much the same thing, just kinda twisted.
My budget was cool until the district decided that they had to alter the pay schedule, which rendered me without a paycheck for a month. I had just cleaned up all of the financial messes after my 18 month custody battle and was looking forward to a stress-free fall replete with State Fair trappings with my daughter. But no. I am totally fucked. As luck would have it, one of my best friend's husband is thinking about filing a class-action lawsuit because this has affected thousands of folks...but for now, I hold onto the seat of my pants and hope that I can keep gas in the car for the next two weeks.

Oh yeah, and they closed my daycare for the next two days and I still have inservices--you might ask, why isn't her father helping? *winces* Help? Feh. He's too busy planning his trip to Mexico with his rich wife.

I hate when that happens. Fortunately you had some in savings.

A rattling noise in my car irritated me all the way to work and back again! I have NO clue what it is, but it's annoying.

I don't need car payments. If I can figure out how to do that...

I'm hoping for a hybrid next time around. My brother just bought a used Honda Civic Hybrid and loves it. he's getting 45-50 mpg with it (Imperial Gallons, he's in Canada)average city and highway.

That's my kinda mileage.

that is working for you pretty well, and then you get hit with medical bills. Boom. There goes the budget. Now what will you stop paying for so that you can pay medical bills?
