Then I'm glad I posted it. It just happened to be the first one I came to that seemed happy and carefree.

So how are things besides boring at work?

I will be at the airport extra early so that I won't get in any rushes.

9. I once had a coworker who used to dance when she was alone.
Of course, we had surveillance cameras and so made fun of her a lot. We dubbed it the Danika Dance and it was BAD!

14. We were able to talk back through the cameras.
So it was either used to say, "Boo!" to a coworker or to inform them that you just saw them do something incredibly stupid. I once fell flat on my ass while squatting down to pick up a couple cases of water (one bottle was leaking and I slipped). Immediately, the general manager just started hysterically laughing at me through the camera. So I gave her the finger.

33. Morning MissH
They should just give you the afternoon off, and tomorrow too! You're useless to them, pining away about your vacation!

Frankly, I think all employers should do that. Give the day off b/4 vacation starts.

Still no news about my car, so I'm at the mercy of a colleague to get to work. Sure hope my mechanic can fix it and hope it's just not too expensive. We've got a holiday weekend coming up. I've got four days off in a row, and with no car, don't think it'll be all that much fun.

34. Good morning SimplyF
now that would be a great idea. Sleeping in before getting up early on the day the vacation starts because one has to catch a plane or drive somewhere far away.

Sorry to hear about your car. 4 days off and stuck at home??? Wouldn't be nice. So he better gets it fixed pronto.

Lunchbreak is over, now I only have to get through the afternoon. I'll leave at 4pm (which is in about 3 hours) :D

43. That's the "huggin'" gif
what were you thinking? :P

I'll take tomorrow off. It's the Labor Day weekend here and Monday is a holiday.

It's doubly hard because my parents can do so little and he does visit during the week; I go on the weekends. The other brother is a slacker (and still gainfully umemployed, so he could be more useful if he wanted) and visits maybe once a month, and that's if he's called.

I'll stop by their house on Friday (I hate major shopping on the weekends x(). Any working/lifting/errands will be easier during the week. Going to the last home pro soccer game on Saturday, then finish the night watching my college team play American football.

Weekends are better, since I work during the week. I just have to plan ahead. [

I fly with Northwest Airlines. And back it is with KLM, not sure if that will be an Airbus or a Boing.
I flew before with an Airbus and I loved the screens for each person. And you could also play games.

47. lol, not for that
he forgot his passport. We crossed on the Swiss side and they didn't check so he didn't realize it. In fact I think the guard was asleep. When we walked back, the German guys definitely checked. He got to go into the office and after showing his student ID and us drivers license, he got to come back with us. He did get a firm 'don't do this ever again' though. We thought we were going to have to leave him in Switzerland and go get his passport.
Anyway, hope your last half hour or so goes fast!

49. 10 more minutes
:D

I remember one time my dad and I picked up a small closet (not really a closet, let's call it a small bookshelf with a glassdoor) from my aunt. We lived that the Bodensee, my aunt near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. So we drove through Austria. They let us in but with a queer look as the shelf looked a bit like a kid coffin back in the car. When we wanted to come back into Germany they stopped us. I am sure the guys from the other boarder called ahead.
