Further Kitty Update.
StirFry has been ransomed from the vet's office. He did have to lose the claw. He's still groggy and disoriented, and has to take icky medicine, - but he's otherwise doing fairly well.

Thank you all again for sending the warm thoughts to my little fuzzy pal.

You're a wonderful bunch of folks.

1. Good news!
Well, sorry about the claw, but glad he's home. I don't envy you giving him meds. Antibiotics? Pill or liquid?

Give him lots of scritches for me!

3. Hope StirFry gets well soon!
Good luck giving the feisty guy medicine. I have to convert pills into liquid for one of my guys.

12. I heard that about medicating a cat.
A person just doesn't have enough hands to do it. I still have scars from Frankie's last bout with a bladder infection. After ten days of medicine, I was ready to pull my own hair out.

I'm glad StirFry is going to be okay.

4. He'll be A-OK short a claw...
These little guys are so pitiful when the anesthetic is still in them. So very sorry that he (and you) had to go through all this.

Glad to hear he's doing well. Give that 'lil dude an extra kiss on his fuzzy head tonight.

:hi:

6. Get well soon, StirFry
Cute name. He sounds like a tough guy.

We have to give three of our cats pills daily - you just get used to it. The cats resign themselves eventually.

7. He's a fighter, he will learn to
kick ass with one hand tied behind his back.

Enjoy him while he is there, despite his badass outward appearance, he could probably use some nuzzling :grouphug:

8. I am sending him a chin scratch, Pooky sends a tail
flip, Tootsie sends a nuzzle, and DC sends old man greetings (he's too lazy to move off the couch at the moment). Cheers Stirfry!!

11. I'm glad to hear he's okay
A little battle-scarred perhaps. It'll lend him a rakish air in the neighbourhood.
