I have a lot of teams I like. But the Irish have been by favorite for so long. i would have to say them, but I love the Aggies too. I really don't know for sure. If Fran does not get the Aggies any better this year, I will not have to worry about it.

College football is defining. The state or region has superior home grown talent. Your coaching staff embraced an ingenius style, offensively and defensively. The institution put just the correct amount of emphasis on athletics and look at the residue. Hell, anyone who attended the school is suddenly a genius.

That's when you win in college football. Victory in the NFL is mostly survival within the salary cap, or benefit via slanted officiating. That's all I remember from the last Super Bowl.

I'm always pulling for my boys at Virginia Tech, but this year I'm pulling double duty. A really good pal of mine is a West Virginia Mountaineer, and this year, WVU is ranked in the top ten in the preseason polls.

Even better, my guys don't have to play his guys in the regular season. I told my pal that I'll be a fan all the way up to the BCS Championship, when my Hokies will play his Mountaineers.

Ragtime in Rosslyn, VA, will be showing all WVU games this season, should others wish to hop on the bandwagon. I'll be the guy in the VT hat.
