Horse breaks leg of Ringo Starr's wife
LONDON -
Barbara Bach, a former Bond girl and wife of ex-Beatle
Ringo Starr, was hospitalized with a broken leg after being kicked by a horse, a hospital official said Monday.

Bach was admitted Sunday to the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford, 35 miles southwest of London. She had surgery to repair her fractured right femur, the hospital said.

1. Are they going to shoot her?
Were it the other way 'round, they'd probably shoot the horse....

4. It pleases me in some odd way that they are still married.
Ms. OR met them when working in a fabric showroom at the PDC. Very nice couple.

5. Hope she recovers quickly
I was relatively lucky in all my years of riding - only a broken nose, and a lot of bruises.

I'll never forget when I was 14 - a horse with a notoriously bad barn reputation cornered me in his stall - I still don't know how I got out of that alive. :scared:
