Diana's dead. Long live Katrina.

It just occurred to me that Princess Diana died on the same day as Katrina (aug 29).

That means that we've now gone two years with hardly a mention of the princess on that anniversary.

It's interesting how an anniversary can be over-shadowed. Someday, there may be an event on September 11 that is so much more earth shaking that people stop remembering it as the anniversary of the terrorist attacks and strart remembering it as... oh, I don't know... the day the aliens came or something.
