What room do you pay your bills in and is it messy?

I have a 2 tiered wicker thing that i use to hold bills but of course junk always migrates over there, so i finish up and decided i should really go through tier 2 and see what exactly is sitting in there and omg i had credit card statements from 2 years ago and a whole bunch of other stuff that should have been thrown away a long time ago. I just finished shredding what needed to go and i got 2 buckets worth. I really need to attempt to get organized.

1. I pay my bills wherever my laptop happens to be at the time.

As for my rent (the only bill I can't pay electronically)...that's more "oh shit the rent's due" in the car. So, I scrawl out a check in the car.
