Wag the little finger at 'em.

It's the new fad in So Cal.

Up here in northern California, we don't see many hummers.

But then, we've always been ahead of the curve.

11. Really?
And I just moved out of Napa this summer after living there 22 years.

I see one or two around this part of the Sacramento valley. The town I live in now is famous for being bicycle friendly.

3. I only see tiny women in big SUVs
I don't understand the phenomenon--my mom always says she liked "being up high" when she owned an Explorer.

5. That's pretty funny
But Hummer owners aren't too bright. Might try this sometime, though I'll keep giving 'em the middle finger, I think. It's been a while... Last time I saw a hummer comin' at me, it was comic as I hustled to get my window down fast enough... Just too funny... (I'm easily amused sometimes).

7. I see several hummers a day around here.....
I generally roll my window down, point my finger at them, and laugh hysterically until they are out of site. They probably don't get it, but it's fun. Ignorant bastards.

9. When it rains the Hummers stay in the Garage
Wouldn't want to get raindrops on that paint finish. I've never seen a dirty Hummer except in news footage from Iraq.

10. heh!
True Story--

A guy I know owns a contracting outfit, and tells me he had a guy worked for him a while ago who bought a Land Rover.

Had a big job off one of the highways, and the kid insisted someone pick him up to get to that job. Too much mud in the area, and the Land Rover could get dirty.

Might even break it.

15. Hummers & SUVs
This is a UAW town. We have a heavy truck(Ford) plant and a Ford Explorer plant.

Thousands of good paying union jobs. I think the democrats need to cool the anti-SUV rhetoric or one day all those union members are going to wake up and realize they're paying to have their own jobs eliminated.

And then people will just buy imported SUVs.

I know a lot of people that work for Ford. My father did. While their union may back a democrat, they don't vote for them for that exact reason. They may on a local level, but never on a national level.

If we're going to be the party of job creation we can't proclaim that we're going to tax SUVs out of existence.

Bush has stolen enough issues as it is. Now is not the time to have him steal the unions. The republicans are already saying the energy bill which would allow the drilling of ANWR would create 200,000 high paying union jobs.

What are we countering with, besides getting rid of SUVs??
