:hi:did not mean to scare everybody...just puzzled. I could have sworn that the meeting was today at 10 am in the outpatient lobby. When I went to check my emails there is one saying that it is tomorrow at 10 am in the building across the parking lot...I am prolly loosing my mind (what little I have:eyes:)

I wish I was more computer savvy:loveya::hug:

folder if you accept or decline the meeting. Then it should also move the request to your Calendar (unless you Decline). You can find old deleted emails by going to the "Deleted Items" folder, then choose "Tools" and "Recover Deleted Items"... it saves deleted messages for a few days, including meeting requests.

(This is all assuming you are using Outlook.)

19. we use Novell webaccess groupwise...
does that tell you anything? according to what I am seeing I have not accepted this "new" email which looks to be time sensitive. The old email (that I can no longer "find") was NOT time sensitive IIRC:shrug:

Not familiar enough with it to help much though, sorry.

26. thanks for trying ...
this "council" is volunteer. I am thinking I will resign. Already they are having secret meetings and rescheduling meetings and having people vote in absentia. 1st shift has already formed a block and are deciding which way to "steer" this committee...and on and on and on:puke:

it has reminded me why, in theory, I am truly an anarchist:P

4. It might be possable to re-call it
My office uses Lotus Notes and in an earlier version then what we have now there was a function to re-call a note as long as noone had opened it.

9. ohh, a note you recieved has disapeared
I was thinking you had sent it. Perhaps you deleted it by mistake? Check to see if it's in the trash folder.

14. ok, I just checked my trash...making sure.
it was not in there. I did not think I had thrown it away because it was concerning a meeting this week and I would not have trashed it until after the meeting.

10. It is Outlook?
Because I had a vendor recall an internet email once.

Strange, but true. But, too bad for him, I had already printed a copy.

5. For Me? Yes.
We have a re-call function that works provided that the recipients haven't opened it yet.

6. You can do a recall, but it doesn't really take it back
Edited on Wed Aug-30-06 09:39 AM by amybhole
Everybody just knows that you've tried to do a recall 'cause you feel like a dork. I speak from experience.

edit to add: if you're using outlook, recipients just get a new email message that says "So and so would like to recall YOUR SUBJECT HERE"

12. You can recall it in Outlook, but it is only a sure thing if they are not
online yet... then it will remove it on the server. If they are already online, they would have to open the "recall" message for the original to be removed. They can open the one you are recalling if it has already appeared in their inbox and if they don't open the recall message.

The answer essentially is... no.

16. In Outlook go to the Sent Items folder

Double-click on the email that you sent to open it. Then on the top menu click "Actions" and then "Recall this Message".
