Oh, great, now I'm dinner for dust mites!!

I've been having a helluva time lately with allergies, and finally figured out that my constantly itching skin is probably from these little bastards. So now I do research and find out that up to 10,000 dust mites might be using my bed and me for their daily bread, munching down and leaving me with itching skin, itchy nose, and itchy eyes.

I suppose it's time to start thinking seriously about mite-proofing the abode. That's after it's at least cleaned up at the most basic level, of course.

2. Try some things first...

Try to find a laundry detergent that is free of dyes, perfumes and other chemicals
Find someone with a Rainbow Vacuum or something similar and have them vacuum your mattress
Get tested to find out what you are TRULY allergic to, if possible
