1. I don't have any questions but I like watching that
series and could watch it over and over and there are many many days that I walk on the rocky shores on a lonely grey , windy and blustery day here in Maine when the Atlantic, indeed, looks as ominous as in those videos, pictures or movies. It is, indeed, awesome, especially in the winter. Yes indeed, the Atlantic is treacherous.

3. I have watched it, over and over...
It was on Sunday afternoons on one of the small stations (non-afiliated) in Los Angeles during the 1970's, we'd watch the Rams play then Victory at Sea until dinnertime...

2. The soundtrack makes me seasick
Actually, I've never been seasick but that music could do it.

Enjoy. :)

4. It is music to be seasick by...
Song of the High Seas is probably the best 'We're out to sea' music there is.

6. my Dad had all of the records
A very early childhood memory of mine, late 60's/early 70's, was my Dad playing his 'Victory At Sea' albums. (He is a Navy and Vietnam vet).

I understand Nixon was quite fond of them, espcially during the dark days of Watergate.

8. I often whistle "Theme of the Fast Carriers"...
My dad was a habitual V at S watcher, and I got hooked in too.

As a kid, I always found that *dark*, rolling water at the end very disturbing!

9. Theme of the Fast Carriers is my favorite
But I also like 'The Guadalcanal March' and 'Hard Work and Horseplay'.

Richard Rogers at his best.
