There is a GOD! Kinkade, that hypocrite fuckwit, being investigated by FBI
WOO HOO!!!!!!! Happy happy day today!! Take that fucker down! He has been successfully sued in the past by owners and collectors. Never trust a fundy Jesus Crispy any further than you can throw him!

The FBI is investigating allegations that self-styled "Painter of Light" Thomas Kinkade and some of his top executives fraudulently induced investors to open galleries and then ruined them financially, former dealers contacted by federal agents said.

Investigators are focusing on issues raised in civil litigation by at least six former Thomas Kinkade Signature Gallery owners, people who have been contacted by the FBI said.

The ex-owners allege in arbitration claims that, among other things, the artist known for his dreamily luminous landscapes and street scenes used his Christian faith to persuade them to invest in the independently owned stores, which sell only Kinkade's work.

"They really knew how to bait the hook," said one former dealer who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the case. "They certainly used the Christian hook."

6. Painter of Light, ass. More like Painter of Crap.
Personally, I feel he should be thrown in jail just to eliminate the sheer amount of crap he thrusts upon the world. But if it takes fraud to put him away, I'm down with that.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

27. Yep, and on the moss-draped cobble-stone walls we see the softly
expressed shadow of Grizzly the One-eyed Biker, heating the tip of his shiv in the candle flame, about to put his brand on Tommy's vanilla-pudding-like ass...

30. Mmmmm hmmmm. And then in another heart-warming scene,
the shower water flows down the drain like a little babbling brook in the country, Tommy Boy leans over, not to pick a colorful nose-gay of pansy flowers to delight his lover, but to recover the cake of soap he has inadvertently dropped...What's that? Is that Grizzly entering our pretty picture once again?

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

And, no, I'm not making light of prison rape...well, actually, I guess I am, but I didn't mean to. That's the kind of perversion of our basic characters that the art of Kinkade (and you can't spell 'Kinkade' without including a little Kink) inspires within even the most Christ-like of us. It's sad. A tragedy... :-(

At least, a god that oversees the world of art.

13. I envision a new masterpiece from Kinkade
A jail cell, the bars all aglow with the radiant light from a christmas tree. The light is reflected off the yellow sheen of the cinderblock walls to illuminate the saintly figure of Kinkade, tricked out in lipstick, eye-shadow, and short-shorts, his teeth all oddly missing, sitting on the lap of a large man with shelving brows and a leering grin, his arm around Kinkade's neck in a pose of ownership. To be titled: Dinner with Mungo.

15. The person from whom I purchased where I live had a Kinkade....
in the bathroom, just above the toilet. I thought that was strangely appropriate. Happily, the thing was gone at closing and a far more handsome piece of art now hangs in its place.

20. It is for precisely this reason that I cast a wary eye at anyone who...
Edited on Tue Aug-29-06 07:27 PM by GOPisEvil
...advertises their religion as a selling point. Sorry, but, "I'm a good Christian" makes me want to run fast in the opposite direction. If you're religious, I should be able to figure it out from your deeds.

On edit - couldn't be happening to a nicer guy.

29. I've more than once been glad I've known these words of Wm. S. Burroughs:
"If you're ever doing business with a religious sonofabitch, get it in writing. His word isn't worth shit, not with the good Lord telling him how to fuck you on the deal..."

Law & Order CI. They had an episode where a Kinkade type painter was bilking his gallery owners. Hmmm....life imitates art yet again.
