I just need to ramble for a minute, and sorry for the depressing topic, but i just have to vent.

A good family friend has passed away from beast cancer. I grew up with her son...we are the same age, went to the same schools, our parents became friends. She leaves behind him and a 13 year old son as well. To make the situation even worse, their father was lost on 9/11 in one of the towers.

The son who is my age can't handle the responsibility of taking care of his 13 year old brother. The 13 year old will probably have to be sent to his family overseas...he has lived in america his whole life.
