"Classic hit" you can't stand anymore?
Mainly due to overkill?

For me, it's "Hotel California" by the Eagles.

6. Anything by The Beatles
...just kidding. I still much prefer ANY of the classic stuff to the utter pap that is churned out for the benefit of Clear Channel these days. There's not an ounce of genuine creativity in any of it.

Van Morrison "Brown Eyed Girl".
Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven".
Some 60's group that does "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"

That 70's classic rock song that goes "All. Right. Now. Baaybe it's a all right now....wooo.... it's all right now!" Not a bad song, just extremely overplayed.

35. I threw that eight trac tape out of my car window back in the day
My brother reached for it everytime he was in my car, one day he plugged it in and out the window it went. That song was written about and for roving roosters, I'm the farthest thing from one, I didn't want to love and leave someone, I was trying to mix cement.

21. I was a Foreigner
on a Journey to Boston when I fell into Bad Company crossing the river Styx. the local classic rock station has ran these bands into the dirt I hope I never hear another song by any of these bands.
As a matter of fact they have driven me to alternative sources of music, the only tunes I get now come from the net.

23. I second Old-Time Rock N' Roll
I hated the song BEFORE Risky Business welded the image of Little Tommy Cruise dancing around in his tighty-whiteys to it.

Just a bad, bad song. Right up there with Billy Joel's nostalgia period crap: 'The Longest Time'... 'Keepin' the Faith'...

Cannot stand 'classic hits' radio :puke:

Which is all we have for FM radio in Houston except for all hit C&W, spanish language, and (thankfully) NPR and Pacifica.
