Anyone have any Encounters With LaRouchie's?
Edited on Tue Aug-29-06 12:31 AM by sfdiva
As in the Lyndon Larouche followers .. I was at a political event today and came out and was bombarded by a LaRouchie calling me closed minded because I did not take his brainwashing iterature .. If these people call themselves Dem's then why don't they show up where other more "civilized" dems show up? Instead of waiting outside to hand their material. The dude had a Kerry/Edwards shirt on today I think that is a disgrace

Also, after I walked away from them .. I was waiting for the bus some lady attempted to give me a larouche book she said some guy in a kerry edwards shirt told me to give this to you .. I pointed to a garbage can and asked her to throw it away

11. Well, it's a well known fact, Sunny Jim
that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows."

"So who's in this Pentavirate?"

"The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee *beady* eyes! And that smug look on his face, "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!" "

"Dad? How can you hate 'the Colonel?'"

"Because he puts an addictive chemical in his chicken that makes you crave it fortnightly, smartass."

13. They hang out by the Foggy Bottom metro station in DC
quite a lot. It's right at GW University, so it's a fertile area to find idealistic young people. Usually there are a bunch of kids handing out the LaRouche stuff while another bunch sing. I decline to take it, politely. One time I had had my little girl at the office and was heading home. One of the female LaRouche supporters, whom I had just politely said, thank you but no thank to, told me I was unAmerican because I had adopted a child from overseas (my daughter is from China). The politeness went out the window and in flew Psycho Amazon Warbitch from Hell with Attitude. I never raised my voice, but told her that she was an idiot for saying such a thing, an idiot for supporting LaRouche, whom I wouldn't permit to clean up my dogs' kennel, let alone have any say in running the country. She looked at me slack-jawed. I was shaking I was so made. Luckily my daughter was too young to understand.

14. When I visit, I see them on the corner of Wisconsin and . . .M, is it?
You know, that street with all the shops leading to the G-town area . . . I try not to be a tourist since I'm there 8 to 10 times a year.

I do agree on his point that America needs to have a stronger industrial and manufacturing base and needs to do more with it's rail system.

Everything else . . .ah HELL no.

16. You've got to be kidding...
Vivaldi and Wagner are villains? What evil messages can be found from playing their music backwards?

Never heard of them before. Sounds like a bunch of loons.

17. If you think that is weird
you should read some of the things LaRouche says about the Queen of England (she is a priestess of Isis, whom LaRouche equates with Satan), Hitler (poor misunderstood man - he only had 1.3 million Jews killed :sarcasm: ) and history in general (check out http://www.whale.to/b/rouche.html or http://www.larouchepac.com/pages/writings_files/2005/051118_british_fools.htm for an excursion into LaRouche's fantasies if you can bear his turgid writing style).
