"We never stop working for you!"

(All names replaced with X's to protect the folks -- note that there was no name after "Dear,".)

Yeah, my contract ends the soonest possible moment. They say "not supported" but there are several sources, including Motorola, that say "not allowed" or "features cut off at vendor request". And they ought to change their slogan too... it's a bit of a lie. They should change it to "We never stop nickening and diming you."

1. Had a similar incident a couple of months ago...
Something was clearly wrong with the phone line, because our DSL wasn't working. Verizon said they couldn't check it out because we don't have THEIR DSL service.

Fortunately, the tech guy had to come out to switch lines around for us, and he took care of the problem...which was an outside line malfunction.
