For supper I am making creamed chicken.
To be served over mashed potatoes, with sugar snap peas on the side.

I made chocolate chips cookies this afternoon to celebrate the first day of school, and I have some delicious coffee from Caribou to brew after supper.

We also have lots and lots of Leinenkugel we brought home from Minnesota.

Right now, I am snacking on the most delicious grapes I have ever tasted.

Would anyone like to come over for supper?

7. Because you asked so nicely, I'll tell you -
Start with a roux (butter and flour); add chicken stock, seasonings and milk (or cream or evaporated milk) and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cut up cooked chicken. Serve hot over biscuits, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

I serve it over rice. Though I have eaten creamed chicken over mashed potatoes and biscuits -- though not at the same time.

We generally like our creamed chicken over rice....I've never tried it over mashed potatoes.......

But I'm sure your way is wonderful......
