Woman Crashes Her Car While Teaching Her Dog To Drive
<snip>

BEIJING --A woman in Hohhot, the capital of north China's Inner Mongolia region, crashed her car while giving her dog a driving lesson, the official Xinhua News Agency said Monday.

No injuries were reported although both vehicles were slightly damaged, it said.

The woman, identified only be her surname, Li, said her dog "was fond of crouching on the steering wheel and often watched her drive," according to Xinhua.

"She thought she would let the dog 'have a try' while she operated the accelerator and brake," the report said. "They did not make it far before crashing into an oncoming car."

Xinhua did not say what kind of dog or vehicles were involved but Li paid for repairs.

3. I have a funny feeling...
...that someday China will challenge us for supremacy in Darwin Award nominees.

After all, throughout history, China would occasionally round up all the smart people and execute them. After a few centuries of that, it has to have an effect on the genetic makeup of your population base.

4. It takes a lot of patience and good insurance
but sooner or later the little critter will pick it up. All I can say is don't give up.

6. I've tried to let my dog Larry drive......

Sometimes he just won't scoot over when I get in the truck. One time it was running so I just hopped in the passenger seat and told him to drive back home. He couldn't even get it in gear! Seems he can't shift and use the clutch at the same time. He just stared at me dumbfounded until he decided to swap seats with me.
