Why Oh Why was that the season finale for Entourage?

Can someone give me one good reason? I don't think I can handle waiting six months to find out what happens. And there was no teaser for it either.

I love this show. I hate it when my Sunday night HBO shows go on hiatus. It will be a long break.

They can't get their act together enough to air in January like they were supposed to.

4. The second half of season 3 is coming on in March

so I guess actually 7. They filmed 20 episodes for season 3 and the last 8 are to air with the last 8 of The Sopranos. This was supposed to happen in January but The Sopranos had some production problems. Seems like this will mean there won't be much break before season 4 starts though.

Episode 17 of season 3 is titled "The Return of the King" according to IMDB. Sounds like Ari will be returned to Vince and E's good graces.
