2. It could be
Or it could be done in a paint program too.. I tend to lean to ward program because the brush marks all seem to be the same. This can be done with a smudge tool.

It's lovely though, I like the use of color, very vibrant.

3. yes i did it with painting software
freeware...for a mere 19 smackers you can get all the bells and whistles....even layers...which i don't know what the heck they are...is that like onion paper and tracing or is it like laying down washes?

with any software, but layers are where you can control the peel of an onion. Make it blue make just one brush stroke.. or several strokes then merge them into the original layer or painting..

It's beautiful though Cleo.

Do you actually paint in a medium? Acrylics or Oil?

On edit: Perhaps you should invest the full smackaroos for the full product? I think your talent is worthy of it

8. I love dolphins!
It's beautiful.. I wish I could do acrylics, it dries to quickly for my taste, and I don't have your blending skills.

I play with Oil paints. I'll have to go take a picture of mine sometime. I rarely get to paint anymore these days.

Do you sell your work? Have a gallery?

4. To me, it looks like it was done digitally.
I think it's the black outlines that really make me think it's digital, and it seems to have a certain too-perfect computerized feel to it.

Damned amazing, though. It's a fine piece of artwork, that much is certain.

10. Gotta vote 'digital' too:
The brightest blues (and especially that lime green) definitely don't come across as authentic paints; they're positively glowing. The "brush strokes" on the woman's red shirt are inconsistent as well; nearly non-existent in some areas.

Very close, though.
