Can men cut their own hair?
I am tired of going to my friend's wife to have her cut my hair. Is there something out there that I can cut my own hair? Not buzzing it, but maybe 3 inches all around? Or do I have to keep going to someone who gets too close to me and makes me drive 20 minutes?

3. The guy in the picture seems pretty happy with the results.
I don't think he's tried to use it on his moustache yet, however.

4. I've done it in a pinch
but then again, I buzz it real close because, well, I'm going bald, fast. My wife usually cuts it for me though. Real easy to do, just bought some of those buzzing clippers, use level one attachment and buzz all over. That I can do myself. It's the clean up around the neck where I need her help. The clipper cost me like 30 bucks and I've gotten at least 50 hair cuts out of them.

If I had 3 inches to deal with, I couldn't do it. (of hair on my head, sheesh!!)

5. I have both a Flowbee and a Robocut ...
The Flowbee is OK, but the Robocut is much better, especially if you have thick, wavy hair. They both cost about the same. I have cut my own hair for about 25 years now.

6. NO - its a man rule
you can "trim" your own hair, but you must have someone else cut your hair. Even better if the person cutting your hair has bad breath. Builds character.

Oh, except nose hair ... you pretty much need to take care of that yourself.

7. There's a difference between what he CAN do
And what, perhaps, he SHOULD do.

Think about it. The good news is: hair grows back.

12. Well stated
I've been cutting my own for about 30 years, but the early attempts were quasi-disastrous.

I had to learn to never, ever, ever cut more than an inch at a time. That way, mistakes aren't so visible.

13. not sure
I buzz my own hair, but you don't want it buzzed...so I have no idea  The biggest guard I have probably leaves at least an inch of hair(maybe more) but I like my hair short, I am a hat man, so I like my hair short...:)
