Jesus, I didn't even think of that. Actually, he shot himself. It was very sad. He was an excellent lawyer and a good Democrat, but struggled with some demons, alcohol among them. That's what makes this particular picture kind of sad for me. I call it "Requiem for a Friend."

Got to watch it being made when I was a kid. My grandfather was one of the founders of the Western Heritage Center (National Cowboy Hall of Fame), and a good friend of Will and Wiley.

they are so fragile and beautiful. I've tried to plant my garden with flowers & perenials that will attract both butterflies & hummingbirds. I see them all the time now. I have been trying to get a good hummingbird picture..but they are just too damned fast for my little digital camera. I think I'd have to be a real photographer to catch them.
