1. I'd love some fresh peach pie, please
:-).

We're having Mexican Style Polenta Stuffed Anaheim Peppers, refried beans and a guacamole salad. A couple of Margaritas to start off and for desert a raspberry sorbet with fresh rasperries on top.

It was NY style, thin crust from this place where I live.
CT has some really good pizza, especially New Haven.

However both east & west of there it seems to suck.

18. New Haven pizza rocks!
Suburbs of New Haven have some good pizza as well.
I've never really had pizza too far east or west of New Haven though besides those suburbs.

22. This is my CT pizza experience...
Nothing good around Fairfield. My stepsister has lived there for four years and she says she still can't find decent pizza. Then out by Mystic & Stonington, more really crappy pizza. There's one relatively good place around Stonington and that's Pie & Suds, but it's also in Westerly, RI.

23. I wouldn't think places near the RI border
would have good pizza.

Seafood, yes but not pizza.

I really don't venture into Fairfield County all that much well except for upper Fairfield County.
Never ate any pizza down that way though.

In Alexandria, VA. It rocked.

My old fav place in NYC was Ray Berry's, but I don't know if it is still in business.

I'm very fond of Chicago style too.

13. They are
I buy a dozen at a time and take the tusks off, then put them in freezer bags and put them in a freezer. Whenever I want one I just pull it out and put it in foil. I butter it and salt and pepper it then roll it in the foil and put it on the grill. It's not as good as fresh, but when you live alone it works because the rest of the corn doesn't go bad.

40. You go to the neighborhood National Coney Island and order it!
:D

Or...I make it like this:

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds spinach, rinsed and chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
8 sheets phyllo dough
1/4 cup olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly oil a 9x9 inch square baking pan.
Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion, green onions and garlic, until soft and lightly browned. Stir in spinach and parsley, and continue to saute until spinach is limp, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl, mix together eggs, ricotta, and feta. Stir in spinach mixture. Lay 1 sheet of phyllo dough in prepared baking pan, and brush lightly with olive oil. Lay another sheet of phyllo dough on top, brush with olive oil, and repeat process with two more sheets of phyllo. The sheets will overlap the pan. Spread spinach and cheese mixture into pan and fold overhanging dough over filling. Brush with oil, then layer remaining 4 sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each with oil. Tuck overhanging dough into pan to seal filling.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Cut into squares and serve while hot.
