Little morality plays...
That is what TV use to be....

The Daniel Boone marathon running this weekend on TV Land reminds me of the way television use to be...

The writers tried hard to combine action with messages of right and wrong....

They tried hard to instill a sense that the punishment does fit crime...

Now, nihilism prevails...

I don't know which is more entertaining or which is more true....

Nor is it up to me to pass judgement...

All I know is that the Daniel Boone show meant a lot to me as a child...

It helped make me what I am today...

Perhaps that is why I felt compelled to write this...

But I always look for your threads.....

Because you always have something good, or funny, or wise, or insightful to say......

And this one is no exception!

By the time my parents got TV, I think Daniel Boone was mostly over.....

Still, I saw some of him....

And I enjoyed the shows a lot......
