2009 - bush* is not pResident anymore...

Not long after the inauguration, a call is received in the White House switchboard.

"I'd like to speak to pResident bush*", says the man on the phone.

The operator replies: "I'm sorry, but bush* isn't pResident anymore. There's a new President now".

The man then responds: "Thank you." and hangs up.

Awhile later, another call is received.

"I'd like to speak to pResident bush*", says the man on the phone.

The operator replies: "I'm sorry, but bush* isn't pResident anymore. There's a new President now".

The man then responds: "Thank you." and hangs up.

This happens for a week or more, and finally the operator asks: "Sir, you always call and every time I tell you that bush* isn't pResident anymore, and you keep on calling."

The man replies: "I know - I've waited a long time to hear that - and it sounds so good after the hell we've been thru for 8 long years!"
