I Am In Love!
I have been seeing this guy for five months and tonight he committed himself to me. He loves me! Do you want to know a secret? I loved him after our fifth date. He is so perfect for me. But I feel so unworthy. What do I do? I really want this guy, but I feel that I will be such a disappointment to him in the long run. I'm really felling torn tonight and really need a hug.

I really don't know what to do.

1. Well...Be with him...
its up to him, to determine how "good you are." And...don't worry, if you guys have dated a lot(more than 5 i presume) it seems to me the feelings are very mutual...

Don't get down on yourself...:)

3. Remember love......
Ah yes that tingly feeling that crept up from your toes to the ends of your hair...

That emptyness in the pit of your stomach when that special someone was far away...

Ah, those were the days....

6. They were.
I try not to think about that, though.

8. God that makes me sad.
The one thing I've never lost is the thought that it will come again. But it doesn't always, does it? That's why people compromise - because they know the real thing is extraordinarly good and extraordinarily rare. Better not to have it than to lose it.

7. Nope. Up Down Up Down Is Lust
We've already past that phase. We're actually talking to one another now. It scares me so much. I haven't been in a situation like this for a long time.

11. Yeah, but it's a great kind of scared isn't it? I wouldn't want the altern
ative, just imagine how boring not being worked up over a lover would be. Just enjoy the ride my friend, the roller coaster ride is half the fun.

9. What? Are ya gay?
Oh wait, Ok...anyway.. :)

Do NOT worry about being "unworthy". You just be you and you will not disappoint. If he committed himself to you, then that's a good thing. Trust me though, take it slow, never let them see you sweat and you will be good to go. Why are you torn? After 5 dates isn't so bad, it isn't really a rush to judgment. Hang in there and enjoy the love.

Oh, here :hugs:

Dude, it will be great, just don't mindfuck yourself. You love him and he said he loved you. Duh...

12. Go with the flow.
If it doesn't work out, it doesn't.

If it does, so much the better.

These chances don't come often in life.

When they do, try it.

You've nothing to lose.

Best wishes.

13. My advice...
Stay calm and enjoy yourself. Try not to expect failure.

You're handsome, charming, and he obviously sees a lot in you that he likes.

You may not think you're perfect for him, but nobody is perfect. He'll deal with your shortcomings and you'll deal with his.

 I want to hear good things happening.

14. Stop worrying about it.
And, don't make him worry about the fact that you are worrying about. Just relax and enjoy what the two of you have together.
