Ah, the joys of Mispricing!

Today I got two imported singles @ Tower Records for $0.79 each! Even the young fellow at the register was like, "These are only 79 cents?!?! Wow." :D

And back when DVD players were still really new and not quite mainstream yet, I got a brand new DVD player for $50 because some fool marked it as a display model even though it was new and sealed in the box.

What are YOUR mispricing stories? :)

2. I got 4 $38 cans of Ralph Lauren™ Crackle Glaze...

...for $1 apiece. They were dented, but unopened,
and on the 'oddball paint' rack at Home Depot marked
at $10.
That seemed like a damn good deal, so I grabbed
a can.

The front register scanned it at $1- someone forgot a ZERO when
they entered it into the system.
The clerk phones the paint dept. to double-check,
and they (duh) look it up on the SAME
computer system that just told the register it was a dollar.

So by the time they "confirm" that it's a buck, I had already
trotted back and grabbed the other 3 cans.
