Mostly my heels were sinking into the carpet and that was the closest book. I have it from my Bible Lit class so it's already all marked up with notes and crap. It was fun taking Bible Lit taught by a lapsed Catholic turned Unitarian. All the fundies left the class in disgust after day two. Could you imagine that a class called, "The Bible as Literature" would actually be a literature class and not involve any preaching?

It looks like you're probably on a bigger ship than I am though. It was a pretty small charter boat we were on. We didn't catch any fish and when we got back to the docks, the charter boat next to ours had a 950lb marlin strung up! It was the biggest fucking fish I've ever seen.

I've always wanted to try skiing. However, as a kid it was on the list of things I couldn't do because I might get hurt (oddly enough full-contact martial arts wasn't on the list). I'm probably going to try it this winter though.

I teach skiing part time at a major resort in Utah. Yes, there are SOME democrats here (but not too many.... )

On a serious note, if your serious about learning, your martial arts training will most likely help you. Having an awareness of where you body is, and how it's moving is pretty much the key for being a good skier.

We rode through the Florida countryside all evening and then spent a few hours browsing around Zephyrhills. It is always fun riding with about ten or fifteen others. It makes you feel safer knowing that the cars aren't as likely to cut you off or say, "I didn't see you." Next month our bunch is off to Key West for a few days on the Peterson's Poker run. I hope the weather cooperates this year. Last year we just got in town and they told us we had to evacuate.

228. It took me about 6 months to get it totally healed.

It's the only one of my piercings that didn't heal up super fast. However, it hasn't given me any problems at all since then. Also, I got it done before I knew to use sea salt. I got it done by a somewhat sketchy piercer in NYC who told me to use bactine.
