Make-up question for the ladies.
What is a good liquid foundation I can buy at the drug store? Clinque is too expensive for me now and I need something that covers and is for a not-a-spring-chicken-anymore face. Thanks.

1. L'Oreal True Match works well for me.
I have tried several so-called "anti-aging" foundations (both high-end and drugstore), and they all seem to feel like a mask when I wear them. L'Oreal True Match has medium coverage, which works well on the redness and blotches on my face. If you need to increase the coverage, you can usually add a little more of the foundation without it looking like hell. One nice thing about this foundation is that you can blend it easily and it doesn't settle into pores or fine lines. I wear it with a moisturizer underneath, and it works very well.

I don't particularly like the pressed powder in the True Match line, so I use a different one. However, it might work well for you too. :)

2. Almay. It's my new love.
Take it from a cosmetologist and licensed make up artist.... there is no difference between the $50 bottle we get scammed into buying and the cheaper brands. I like Almay, because it's lighter and also has a great wrinkle reducing cover up. :hi:

3. Do you ladies like dresses or slacks?
Oh, make-up. I thought you wanted us to make up a question. Carry on.

5. Miz t., a former Revlon consultant sez:
she uses L'Oreal True Match.
It has an SPF sunscreen of 17.

"Use a good moisturizer first.
Apply the foundation with a cosmetic sponge.
Blot with a loose translucent powder.
L'Oreal also makes a good one.
It'll stay on all day."

Miz t. will be 62 in October.
She doesn't look a day over 60.
;-)

And you thought I was just another pretty face.
