The Contest Theme is "Texture".

TEXTURE:
1) The visual or tactile surface characteristics and appearance of an object

2) "something that invokes a sense of feel, emphasizing how something would feel if you were touching it, smooth, rough, soft, prickly, ripply, whatever." (thanks, Blue)

There were a bunch in the prelims I liked.
Blue Jeans was another, but i'm biased. I have loved old, comfortable jeans since the '60s. :hippie:
I thought that photo caught the texture of old, comfortable jeans.
