Great Christopher Walken, with Martin Sheen doing a creepy alter-ego of his President Bartlet. Excellent movie.

Thats good to know...I'm currently still stuck in Tommyknockers...:( I just need to get off Du for a few days and finish the damn thing off. I have read quite a few King novels, over 20 of his novels, at least...

I am a King-o-phile, and I can tell you that most everything after "It" but before "The Regulators" is the low point of his work. His short stories are superior - Different Seasons and the Bachman Books are the apex of his talent. Firestarter is also quite good. The early stuff is best.

My wife got me started big time on King, I read Insomnia, and Dream Catcher before tackling the Dark Tower...DT was pretty damn good in my book...:)

6. Yeah
What you said.

My favorite Stephen King "reading moment" (ok, all night reading marathon) was when I was 16, in the hospital with the flu and stayed up all night reading...........I'm sure you can guess which one.

Of course, many years later when he had much more clout and much less sense, he put out the unabridged edition of the same book. I happily read it again but it actually gave me a far greater appreciation for his editor.
