No, really. I didn't like them until I moved here. Now I get pissy if someone tries to sell me a hamburger or an omelet without the avocado.

I checked, and I still have my birth certificate! :-P

Truth be told, you probably didn't like them because they lose quality upon exportation. They suck on the east coast... I could never eat them when I lived in Virginia.
