 We talk AS we're walking in and as we're washing our hands, putting on lipstick, etc., and as we're leaving, but never during. It's a girl thing. :P

13. Yes, we are.
 But since we have private stalls to take care of business, the wall sort of acts as a barrier to talking. The only talking that happens is if somebody runs out of paper.

And you do not talk at the urinal. It's a basic rule.

11. I hate that
Not that I use those things, if I can help it -- a lot of men seem to have some compulsion to check out what 'Elvis' is toting, or something. Doesn't matter that I'm not really Elvis, but just some dude...I guess they just think that surely the King must be carrying around a Kingly scepter (and, no, I won't say something self-aggrandizing here that refers to King Kong, you'll be relieved to know). I mean, that'd happened to me before, but when I first started doing this job I noticed it more and, anyway, getting that mission accomplished while dealing with a jumpsuit and belt, etc, is not an easy task and is a very awkward and delicate operation.

If nothing else, they'll start talking to me or, more disturbing, start singing Elvis songs. One dude I always used to run into -- he was an employee -- invariably launched into a dramatic rendering of the "glory, glory, Hallelujah" part of "American Trilogy" when he was standing there doing his bidness, which was a tad disconcerting. If I have to go, and I usually don't until I've finished work (for one, I sweat out so much of my liquid intake), I use a stall.

Then again, my business partner has had someone shove a camera over the wall of a bathroom stall he was using and snap his picture...
