Why the IAU decision to downgrade Pluto may already be all wet
Check out the eccentric orbit of Mu Arae b:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mu_Arae

If Mu Arae b can have a weird orbit and still be called a planet, then so can Pluto. So there.

1. I don't know - I just think having a planet named after a cartoon dog

not a star, as Pluto does.
