Mr. kt and I won two free nights at the Burbank Hilton!

We participated in a blood drive and won two free nights in the Hilton when his name was pulled in the raffle. Then, we were upgraded to a suite! It was perfect timing, as we needed a few days away. I hung out at the pool, worked out in the fitness center, had two great dinners in the restaurant (and I fell in love with Blood Orange Martinis. I've never liked martinis before.)

Mr. kt relaxing on the bed. It was the most comfortable bed. The minute I laid down *CRASH* I was out!

4. Even though we don't have a lot of money to throw around, this inspired us

Every four or five months, we're going to book a weekend in a nice hotel. It won't be someplace like Los Angeles because of the price. I will be someplace quite and out of the way. We're hanging out in the hotel, sleeping in, swimming, working out and just relaxing. It was really great for us right now! I highly suggest getting away to everybody, even if is just a cheap motel someplace- get away and relax!

Maybe next time you could look into a "themed room" hotel!
