Am I the only one who thinks the Capitol Steps aren't funny?
I get tired of them after 20 seconds.

2. Ah, come on - they were both funny back in the day.
It's just that politics isn't much fun right now, due to the fact that one half thinks our country is being ruined and the other half loves the people ruining it.

4. Far from it...
Michael Reagan, on the other hand, seems to think they're uproariously funny, which should be all you need to know.

6. Their name is funny anyway
As I understand it, they were named in honor of a disgraced Republican Congressman who boinked his trophy wife on the capitol steps.

7. They're too tame
They're trying so hard to be bipartisan that they aren't funny.

Years ago, I saw an interview with Graham Chapman of Monty Python, and he said that making fun of good people was not only mean, it wasn't funny. The people you made fun of had to be evil or full of themselves or illogical or otherwise deficient in order to serve as the target of humor that was actually funny.
