5. Earlier versions of Archie are more putzish than modern versions.
I think Mad (when it was a comic book in the 50s) pointed out in Starchie that Betty and Veronica are more or less the same titsy chick with different hair and Starchie was indifferent to the similarity. Very dark satirical take on the old comic standby; if you ever find it, it's worth a look.

Yeah, there ain't much in the way of pickin's in Riverdale, apparently.
