1. Fitted sheets rarely do.
Most pillow-tops require fitted sheets with extra deep pockets -- 15 inch deep pockets are ideal. Flat sheets don't cover as well either unless they've got a little extra width.

2. I like mine a lot, but you do need to make sure that you buy
the right fitted sheets. I am supposed to turn mine evey month (?)..I don't know if that means that it is going to get worn out quickly if I don't rotate it.

6. I loved my waterbed...... I called it the womb....
They suck to move though AND you can never sleep in them the first night after you move into a new place.

Like everyone has stated above, make sure you purchase the correct sheets.

on edit--all of the advice I received about purchasing a new bed is make sure that you spend at least 15 minutes on the bed you may buy. Bring your own pillow if you like and lay on the bed in the positions that you normally sleep. When I researched various beds, the "experts" have said that you will know by 15 minutes if the bed is the right one for you.

5. It took me awhile to get used to ours.
I had an ache in the small of my back for a couple of weeks, nothing major, just not what I was expecting.

Now that I'm used to it, I sleep great.
